Fornost Remmenaeg defeated (just)

Having got the West Gate key during their last visit, Captain Grimberg, Burglar Deshac, Champion Colvedui & Captain Stuball get the fourth morgul hilt from Remmenaeg at the third attempt. Not having a Tank or a Healer required some creative thinking. At the first attempt our Champion died very quickly. Switching tack Grimberg tried to tank but his healing attracted too much aggro. Finally Grimberg got Remmenaeg's aggro, didn't heal, started kiting using Make Haste & did Last Stand then Strength of Morale 3k heal. This gave Deshac enough time to light the braziers one at a time and for the 3 other heros to clear up the bats and shades. Grimberg was then defeated and was rezed by Captain Stuball so all 4 heros could put out maximum damage. Colvedui was also defeated before Remmenaeg finally succumbed.

Barad Gularan still tricky at L65

After 3 L65s Apelred, Colzarak & Brenville's failed to defeat the Rogmul we recruited Findo to our cause for some extra ranged damage. Even then it required a few attempts before we finally defeated him.

Against advice we eventually stood in the circles full time as the time to get the key skills off was so limited.

Florandir sacrifices Nellie Boskin for Enmity of the Orcs

Florandir the Loremaster has been skirmishing on Amon Sul from level 31 to level 34 so had a break to help Halbarad summon a council for Vol 1 Book 3. He noticed he needed to slay 100 orcs to get his Return to Rivendell Class skill. So, during the Defence of Trestlebridge he bought the 15 min Accelerator from the Lotro Store that doubles your slaying rate and let poor Nellie die at the hands of the Orc brutes 4 times until he had got enough kills to complete Enmity of the Orcs 2. A bit heartless for an Elf if you ask me. Anyway on completion of Halbarad's tasks he sends you to talk to Aragorn in Rivendell, which was a quick Return to Rivendell and Elrond's your Uncle he talking to Aragorn about reforging swords and tracking down Black Riders. Don't think Florandir will be on Nellie's Yuletide card list after that stunt though!
