Grimberg discovers the Heart of Fire on the way to level 57 thanks to the +50% xp boost this weekend.

Halls of Night

Apelred (hunter), Zeshac (Runekeeper) and Colzarak (Guardian) tried the Halls of Night for the first time and managed all three bosses on Teir 1 L65 without too many power problems. Apel needs to do lots more skirmishing to afford the nice Hall of Night jewellery sets

Grimberg L56 in Moria

Grimberg goes back to adventuring after a break to decorate his house and progresses to level 56. He has just equipped a legendary emblem with Rallying Cry Cooldown and is loving the results and it isn't even maxed out yet. Unbuffed is 45 seconds, Grimberg is at 23 seconds, maxed out is 15 seconds. He also has + 6% Rallying Cry Healing, max is +15%.

Decorating

Floribunda visits the campfire in Waymeet to make Complete Hobbit Breakfasts so she can make the breakfast table for her new Deluxe house.

Floribunda made some extra breakfasts so Apelred could get his Breakfast Connoisseur title.

Grimberg goes Deluxe

Due to an unusually intensive period of adventuring Grimberg's bank balance was looking healthy so he decided to splash out on a deluxe house as the very desirable 3 Brookbank Street with its windmill & tree was available. Feel free to drop by in Spratton district, Shire Homesteads, Eldar Server.

Grimberg is a Light from the Shadow & L54

Grimberg & Golodir defeat Mordirith (Vol 1 Bk 8 Ch 5) using inspiration in a fairly simple fight to gain the Light from the Shadow title.  Grimberg then adventured around Eregion to make level 54.

Flaming Halflings on fire in Thrors Combe

The Flaming Halflings Brenville, Colzarak, Gastano, Tipsie & Apelred complete the Thror's Combe dailies with Col & Apel living up to the Flaming kin name :).

Florandir completes Healer and gets his Eagle

Florandir throws Snowy the Frost Lynx to the wargs so he can heal his wounds and complete the healer deed.

This was during his visit to Angmar to progress his L50 class quests. With some help from his kinmates and buying his Putrid Slime of Helchgam with the big skirmish mark pot he built up he completed all the quests and has his Eagle.

Turbine points or grind?

OK Apelred reckoned with his limited game time it would take him 2 months to grind enough IXP & scrolls to achieve his plan for his Bow. Not fancying this he appealed to his handler to take advantage of the Turbine double points and invest £20 to do the same in an evening. So having done the deed here is the result. Apel can now concentrate on exploring Enedwaith (he has been saving the quests until he had a decent weapon to benefit from the IXP).

Apel also finally finished Supreme Master Tailor with a little help from the AH and has crafted the Accuracy Relic that gives Ranged Offence & Crit.

Ascarsul Plans

Having lucked out to get a 5 Major legacy bow Apelred is planning great things, if he can get enough other items to L31. So he needs to be levelling 4 items for the following.

Replace -283 Ranged Skill Evade with Focus Bow Crit Magnitude (Precision Stance gives a far better buff if it is required) - DONE 5th June
Replace Agility with Barbed Arrow Bleed (Add Agility to Melee Weapon instead)
Replace Quick Shot Crit with Induction Bow Crit Magnitude (As Apel approaches the 15% level cap QS Crit become less useful)
Replace Strength Quick Shot Slow with Merciful Shot Cooldown (Having done a raid Apel now understands the value of this legacy)

Cool Burn Daeranc

Apelred finally defeated Daeranc using Cool Burn +40% Ranged Damage - here is a pleasing entry from the combat log.

Apelred scored a critical hit with Improved Merciful Shot on Daeranc for 2,724 Westernesse damage to Morale.

Back to 4 & 3 red & blue setup now. Changed my mind, see the comments as to why.

P.S. Daeranc is a Mithril Flake dropper in Lothlorien

Eldar latency comparison

The Eldar server is back up and the only issue Apelred has found so far is he is Nobby No Mates as his Friends list is empty.

Latency on the US server is higher as expected but not so high as to cause any concern.

Update Sat 4th June - I experienced a couple of lost connections today so maybe a few teething problems.

Ready to go

EU Migration is available - or maybe not - until now

Just spotted this post on CSTM saying migration is available - will give it a try ... Not available when I tried the link, maybe it got too busy?

UPDATE - I accessed the transfer site & migrated at 10:30 UK time and the game is patching away. This was after a reboot as I was getting some strange errors with Firefox so the site could have been available earlier.
