Isengard arrives

Took my turn in the patching queue last night and got up and running. Trying to get the hang of the Cappy changes.

L65 only just

Grimberg just manages to make Level 65 1 day before the lauch of Isengard!

Supreme Master Metalsmith

Folflorin makes some crests ready for the new Isengard Guild crafting level and a 3rd age level 65 Emblem for Grimberg which was enough to get him to Supreme Master Metalsmith.

Skirmish to L64

Grimberg still might make level 65 by Isengard having just made level 64 by completing his daily AFK skirmish Stand On Amon Sul (AFK because I set the skirmish off and then go for a shower leaving my pet & skirmish soldier to it, getting back in time for the Cargul fight at the end. I normally do these at -5 levels.)

This level 64 skill will help with the AFK skirmishes.

Back to Moria for Skumfil (spoke too soon)

4 brave Flaming Halflings help Colvedui the champion with his class quest in Skumfil and then venture even deeper into the tunnels.
The first week we did the right side, the second week we did the left side for Tormay's Minstrel quest (boy there were a lot of corpse claws).

Captain of great worth and bravery

Those Elves are a good judge of character! Grimberg helps the Hidden Guard shepherd Mazog on the treacherous journey through Mirkwood.

Finished with Moria

Grimberg completes Vol 2 Book 8 defeating Gwathnor again and this means he can close the door on Moria for a while. On to Mirkwood next.

Hunters hoping for changes to Isengard

Hunters dont like the look of the current changes around focus in Isengard according to this forum post. There are some bits of positive feedback as well. Lets hope any issues from beta can be ironed out before the official launch.

Lumul-Nar Solo & L63

Grimberg tries the solo version of Book 8 Chapter 3 Mirror Halls, it does not have inspiration, the mobs are just normals. It is a lot easier than the 3 man version, hardly a bat in sight and only a couple of warriors. The Task Mistresses still have the 1000% damage increase & nasty wound so they have to be killed quickly. Had fun setting the mirrors as his kinmate normally does this. Ergoth the final boss is on her own so is a straighforward fight. Its a bit too easy really.

The only extra Lumul-Nar quest he could complete was the Lesser Rings quest. These quests got Grimberg to level 63.

Fil Gashan

The Flaming Halflings help Cappies Stuball & Grimberg complete In Harms Way in Fil Gashan & then we go on to defeat General Talug. Grimberg gets the General's armour to display in his house.

Oathbreaker

Grimberg was 12k rep short of Kindred with the Iron Garrison Guards so did a few runs of the Scholar crafting instances in Hadudbab, located in Durin's Way, which net about 4k per time. He could then buy the Master of the Charge book from the rep vendor and buy the Armaments of the Oathbreakers from the Captain Trainer to equip the Oathbreaker Archer herald. Grimberg already had 5 red to enable his herald to be an effective off tank.
