L75 after the Fords of Isen disaster

Apelred sports his Grey Company outfit with Grimbold & Theodred. He struggled to help Grimbold with the retreat in Vol 3 Book 5 Chapter 4 getting jumped by multiple Orcs but after the latest patch this seemed to get a lot easier. Apel finished book 5 and did a few book 6 quests in Thinglad and finished Isendale quests to make L75. He also made Kindred with Theodreds Riders by liberal use of the Rep Accereration scrolls from the Lotro Store.

Prisoner Apel gets to L74

Apelred is put to work while imprisoned in Isengard but strangely is allowed to keep all his weapons & armour? Very useful when fighting Surly Uruks for their run buff. He has an audience with Saruman which proved hard to resist. Apel eventually escapes with the help of fellow prisoners, most of whom sadly don't make it.

L73 then betrayed by those Falcons

Apelred made level 73 venturing round Gravenwood then returned to the Falcon clan only to be despicably betrayed and locked up in Isengard where he was put to cleaning up slops, no job for a hero!

Dark Delvings proves a bit tricky

The Flaming Halflings had a couple of Guardians wanting their L58 class quest so 4 ventured into the Dark Delvings only to be defeated by the Void Eater. So next time a we had a party of 6 (vitally including an interrupting Champ) and we managed to defeat the first boss and Nightshade for the class quest. Emboldened we ventured further and defeated the Doom Speaker. Gurvand however managed to punt our tank over the edge just before we got the best of him. Well there are a couple of other budding Guardians in our kinship so we will be back.

Level 71

Apelred shows hobbit appreciation for Falcon clan chief's ability to eat all the pies!

He is not impressed with the dunland quests having got very bored leveling up to L71 to match the mobs around Tal Methedras only to find the epic quest line in the same region is at level 68, not a happy hobbit.

Mysterious time eating land

When asked why adventuring has slowed right down, Apelreds handler has been mumbling about a mysterious time eating land called Skyrim wherever that is.
